If Christmas is in July...

...then Halloween would be in May?
Hi everyone! I hope your weekend went really well and that you enjoyed every minute of it. :D
Okay, so what's up with this crazy post? Well, I wanted to come up with a project in which I would be able to use as many Ians and Anyas as possible. So...
TRICK OR TREAT!!!
Yes, I was a little batty this weekend. (Ha! Get it? Yes? I had caffeine twice today!) This was so much fun to make, especially since I could color my heart out. Now cutting them out was a pain in the coyote. If I could have a magic craft tool, it would be a punch that morphed itself into any form you wanted it to. THAT would be so worth marketing!
Okay, so back to my reality of Halloween in May...
Here's a closer lineup of the trick or treaters on the right side of the house. Hero Ian, Mermaid Anya, Sheriff Ian and Dress Me Anya (that I made into Hula Anya) are waiting patiently for their turn. The ribbon was a gift from my friend Kelli and it is so cool! It's a bunch of black upside down bats that are all connected. I used more in the window and doorway of the front of the house.

Here's the gang on the other side of the house: Cheer Anya, Rescue Ian, Princess Anya and my new favorite Quarterback Ian.

I used one of the Miss Anyas to give out the candy, she's altered just a wee bit to fit the mood. A black skirt and hat was enough for her to join the festivities, I cut out a new basket and filled it with candies for the t-o-t'ers. I found this great assortment of spiders in my stash and thought he was hilarious helping her pass out lollipops. You can see another friend of his on the front of the house, and one more spider in the tree.
So what does this all mean? (Aside from the fact that I really should stay away from caffeine, that is.)
I recently received an email from Jess, VP of Club Anya, letting me know that my Guest Designer position is creeping up soon. That was enough to send me into a dizzy spell. (haha!"Creeping" and "spell" - I am so into the Halloween spirit, aren't I?) My term will be for June and July so I wanted to share the excitement with you all! This was my first DT application that I ever submitted and I was honored to be picked.
Every day this week, M-F, I will post a letter somewhere in my post. Trust me, it will be obvious. This will spell a 5 letter word that you will have to unscramble. Email the entire word to me in the subject line by May 20th and I will announce the winner on June 1st - the official start of my position. There's no need to do anything else, but if you link this to your own blog I will enter your name twice in the drawing. Just let me know either in a comment before the 20th, or via email jonjinko@hotmail.com. So what will the lucky ghoul win? Come back tomorrow and you'll see. Have a great Monday everyone! --> The letter of the day is "T"<--
*Love and Aloha*
