Mother Mary

Happy Friday, everyone! :)
Today I'm sharing a couple makes made with the beautiful Mother Mary.
She seems to be a new DT favorite with the holidays quickly approaching!
I always love trying out different color schemes with Saturated Canary images,
just to show how brilliant Krista is as a designer.

First up is a black and white card that I made with a pop of yellow:

And here is one that I made with a more colorful palette,
inspired by the Altitude paper collection {Bo Bunny}:

I just adore the way Krista's images come to life,
no matter what your style or color preferences are!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today,
be sure to spoil yourself at the Saturated Canary shop
and visit on Facebook to share your lovely samples.
Have a beautiful day everyone, and a wonderful weekend!

Which Witch?

Happy Tuesday, everyone! :) I hope you're having a great start to the week!
I'm on the Saturated Canary blog today, sharing my latest creation.

With Halloween quickly approaching,
I wanted to color up the adorable Witchkeys image from Krista.
The problem was, I couldn't decide which papers I wanted to use,
so I made two different samples! (Problem solved, btw.)

Having two older sisters, and three daughters of my own,
I'm automatically drawn to images of three girls.
The funny thing is, I can name which witch is which in the family. hahaha!
That's me pouting on the far left,
my oldest sister (nicknamed "Princess" - seriously) in the middle,
and my sweet sister Jen on the far right.
When it comes to my own daughters, that's Lily (youngest) on the left,
the oldest daughter (Nala) in the middle,
and the sweet, content one is Maali. So basically, this matches birth order quite perfectly. teehee!

Be sure to grab a Halloween image or two for your fun coloring this weekend,
there's still plenty of time to trick or treat yourself!
You can spoil yourself with all the eye candy here at Krista's shop.
Have fun and thank you for stopping by to see me!

A little bit of Altitude

Happy Friday, everyone! :)
Two weeks ago after the flooding in SC, my kids had a week off from school.
Last week they had a two hour delay.
This week they had a one hour delay, with Thursday and Friday off as previously planned.
Yup. That meant I had a lot of craft time since everyone has been sleeping in. ;)

I came across Bo Bunny's Altitude Collection when I popped into Hobby Lobby.
All paper pads 50% off? Yes please.

I wanted to share a few of my cards that I've made with this stack,
the colors are so beautiful paired together!

Trees from The Greeting Farm's Sing Hello

Sheena from TGF's Ever After Kit

Makeup Time from Saturated Canary

Isn't this just a lovely collection?
I think I may end up using up the whole paper pad before the season is up!
I found mine at Hobby Lobby, but I am sure it's everywhere in craft stores.

Have a happy Altitude day, everyone,
thank you for coming by to say hello!

It's Makeup Time!

Happy beautiful Tuesday everyone!
I hope you are all enjoying the lovely change in seasons
and all the excitement it brings. :)
I am getting a jump start on my holiday cards
and thought it would be fun to use Krista's sweet image:

Makeup Time is so festive, isn't she?
Just a classic cutie for any occasion!
I paired her with Bo Bunny's Altitude Collection, a rub on sentiment,
Martha Stewart snowflakes, and a bit of bling
with rhinestones and ribbon.
The silver and neutral colors were fun to play with,
normally I love a lot of color.
I think I'll be making up a few more of these!

You can find Makeup Time here in Krista's lovely shop,
and, with my permission,
go ahead and spoil yourself with a few more of her gorgeous digital images. ;)
Thank you for stopping in to say hello, have a wonderful day!

Let it Snow!

Happy Monday, everyone!
With the school schedules almost back to normal,
I've been finding more time in my craft room. YAY!
It's an exciting time, with the holidays around the corner
and more images being released over at The Greeting Farm!

Today I wanted to show you two of my cards made with Let it Snow!

Not only is this guy the cutest, snuggliest bear ever,
but Marie has also released coordinating die cuts for this entire set.
This makes card making SO much fun!
He comes with two penguin friends (can't wait to ink them up!)
and little accessories to embellish your cards with.
Can I also add that he is so easy to color if you leave him white?
All you have to do is grab your favorite copic or marker to add little shadows on him.
Once I was done, I colored up his scarf to match my papers,
then used a white Inkessentials pen to add pattern. Super easy.

Be sure to stop by the Farm and see all the other wonderful releases!
And spoil yourself while you're there, okay? ;)
Thank you for popping in to see me, have a great day!

Forgive my absence lately, we had quite a strange week here in SC.
The flooding affected our school schedules
(one week off, the following week a two hour delay every. single. day - lol!),
so trying to get everyone back in routine was tricky.
I haven't seen the gym in three weeks. :/

However, if you were following The Greeting Farm's website
then you know what an exciting week it was.
Not only did we have two new SSSC stamps revealed,
but they are just sooooo perfect.
All the fun happened on TGF's blog, so today I wanted to share my makes with you.

Here's the oh so adorable SO HIP {SSSC No. 16}:

and Poppy {SSSC No. 17}:

I know. Marie's images get cuter by the month.
Now if you are part of the SSSC,
then you received these cuties waaaaay ahead of everyone else for a discounted price.
If you are not part of this round of SSSC, don't worry,
these, and other SSSC stamps, are still available for purchase!
Click here to see all of the latest new releases
including TGF's winter images for those holiday cards.

Be sure to keep an eye out for the next round of sign ups for SSSC,
trust me - it's worth it to join and get advanced copies of these stamps!

Thank you for coming by to see me, have a wonderful day everyone!

Back to School with Mya

Happy beautiful Tuesday, everyone!
I hoping your week is off to a great start!
I know for many of us, September means that the house is a little emptier
with all the kiddos off to school.
Funny how the house is emptier, but I feel like I'm busier. lol!

With this new month, I just knew I wanted to use this sweet image Mya to celebrate:

She actually reminds me of my son's classmate in first grade. :)
I colored Mya up with copics and used a fun technique for the flowers:
Simply make five dots in a circle, then add in another dot right in the middle.
Easy peasy!

I changed the flower colors for her socks,
and then did stripes for her backpack using a white Ink Essentials pen.
You can find Mya here at Krista's shop,
but be sure to browse all those wonderful pages before you decide to check out.
Because you deserve it. ;)

Have a wonderful day everyone! Thank you for stopping by!

I colored her up with my Copics and 0.5 Copic multiliner
using the no border technique.
The sweet butterfly is also from TGF {Hoppy Hello}
and I added a rub on sentiment from American Crafts

She will be available tomorrow for you to add to your collection!

Love Peppermint

Isn't she a doll? That peppermint hat is so cute!

scrap papers from my stash, and finished off with twine.
