Aloha Kakahiaka, it's Saturday!

Good morning friends, I was up bright and early with the little one and had these great intentions of making some cards and doing some challenges on SCS. He went back to sleep in his crib, I went to the couch! 3 hours later...

Everyday I try to spend some time being thankful, and this cold morning would have been perfect as the house was so quiet. No complaints though, as I woke up to the sweetest face this morning.
This is my Maali, my little sunshine. Many of you followed her journey with retinoblastoma (cancer of the eye) on SCS with us. In fact, it was 2 years ago this past Monday that she was diagnosed. I wanted you all to see how well she is doing now! Her hair has come back differently, this time in soft dark brown ringlets. Although this picture was taken before her bedtime last night, she is always this sweet and patient. I have so much to learn from her.
I will hopefully get some cards done today, if not then I definitely will tonight! DS just informed me that his friend gave our family 5 tickets to the Washington Wizards/Charlotte Bobcats NBA game tonight. DH will be taking the older 3 and one of our other 'sons' (DS' BF), I eagerly volunteered to stay home with the little ones. ;)

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!
*Love and Aloha*

Joni- Maali looks GREAT! I can't wait to show this to my DD when she gets up in the morning. She'll love seeing Maali and hearing how well she is doing, as she asks about her all the time. God Bless your precious little "sunshine"- and her beautiful new ringlets :-) She's just beautiful!

Joni~ I'm so happy that Maali is doing great and is as beautiful today as she was that day she was born. She's very blessed to have a loving family!
