Get-Oh Fabulous Friday is here!

So, what does this -----> have to do with today's entry?

Although I would love to make a homemade batch for all my friends under the weather right now, I just wanted to show you my inspiration for storage. Remember my ONE single copic? Well it has multiplied like gremlins! :D Thanks to a swap that I am in, I have been gifted sketch and ciaos from dear friends of mine. Suddenly the little space that I had for my one copic wasn't working well any more.

Drum roll please! I present to you my Get-Oh fabulous solution:

Tada! (Okay, if you remember when I started my Fridays, I clearly warned you that I can be quite - uh - innovative. Yeah, that's it.) We go through a lot of cans here in our house as I cook enough to feed our Wilson army. While washing one out to recycle I realized they could be altered quite easily. Now I always give credit where credit is due. This idea was sparked by a picture in the new SU IBC that had this idea with paint cans. Well, paint cans don't contain anything that I can serve for dinner so I went this route.

I had some fun DP scraps so I wrapped them around to measure, cut to fit, glued them on, secured it with rubber bands while they dried and I was done. I actually started off with two cans, then added more as my copic collection grew. I am not quite sure what I'll do when I start hoarding every single copic marker as I don't think a 3 foot soup can pyramid would be easy on the eyes. But I do know that this works well for now and I can always pass it on to DD for her storage area. I like the accessibility without having them roll all over the place and they are stored horizontally as directed.

Thanks for stopping in! Have a wonderful Friday~

*Love and Aloha*

LMBO...I LOVE this idea Joni!!! Yeah...I think I would be needing that 3 foot pyramid for my Prismas and other markers...lol. I just wouldn't have any room to put it...lol. I use to alter soup cans and use them as treat holders...you know...I threw in little cello bags of yummies. There's another idea incase you have more cans around...lol.

These are fantastic! Great way to use your bits and pieces up, create a storage item and repurpose an item. I am all for that!

Joni, you are brilliant. The soup cans are just the right size for my Prismacolor pencils and I use a lot of veggies in the 20 oz or so size, so I am glamming them up for my scissors, glue pens, etc. Much cuter than the boring containers they are in right now. Thanks for the tip! Blessings, Diane/Lost in the 60's/Planted in Joy.
