Happy March and Monday everyone!

I know, it's already the 2nd day of March but yesterday was a blog day off. :D I hope you had a great weekend? I was busy in my craft space, and since my Chef Ian of The Greeting Farm arrived last week I was anxious to use him.
Soooo, did you see my project? He's the latest addition in my blog header (all the way to the left). I had this DP lying around as it is a little too busy for a card. I decided to use it like faux brick, but had to sponge the entire thing using Purely Pomegranate to tone down the pink. I loved doing this altered project but especially had to smile when I made this part of the magazine holder (not shown in the header):

Haha! There's a side window! I even had some al fresco tables that I was going to place under it, but it was a bit too much. I figured this way it was almost like a little window off of a sidewalk that you could peek into, I can just smell the cupcakes. Ahhhh...I even added some cupcakes in the upper window as well. Ian's bakery is now open for business!
So don't forget, the Super Challenge Saturday is on!! See the post below for all the details, it is called "Emotional Baggage" and challenges you to be inspired by a favorite handbag, luggage, purse, gift bag, or other carrier and create a card. I hope you join us! Upload to SCS' gallery BLOGC4 so we can all see the awesome ideas. Happy Monday to you, it is a snow day (in March?!?!) so my kiddos are home today - woohoo!
*Love and Aloha*

I noticed him right away!! I love the addition of your bakery to your building "village." Ian is so sweet and I could just taste the treats coming out of that adorable shop.

Wow! Did you guys get more snow than we did? We only got a dusting.

Hi Joni,

I noticed these on TGF Blog and a few other places too!!! You do beautiful work!!! I lived on Kauai Hawaii when I was 12 and 13, my Dad drowned there so we had to move back to the continental states after that, but I loved my time there and would like to visit again some day!!!

I lived there in 1987 and 1988
