3rd Grade Craft project gone wild!

Hi friends! Yeahhhh, it's Thursday and I am so ready for the weekend! I hope you are doing well on this ch-ch-ch-chilly day.
I didn't have a chance to get into my craft room last night, my 8yo DD had a craft project. And I mean "A" craft project, as in ONE project. However, she decided a few weeks ago that she wanted to do one for every person in her class as well as her 4 main teachers!
Her easy assignment was to submit a simple craft idea. The teacher is compiling all of their original typed projects into a craft book for them to have at the end of the year. After going through my altered items, Nala decided that she loved the 12x12 bag (instructions found HERE on my buddy Tammy's blog).

I am so proud of her! She even purchased her own DP (her choice, not mine), scored, cut, and assembled them after I marked the areas with my ATG and CAD. (I love her, but some of my toys are still off limits. heehee!)
We used scraps for the handles which gave them an even more festive feel, I hardly doubt that 8 and 9yo boys will be impressed but at least they'll like the goodies inside of the bags.
This is what our dining table looked like last night:

The teachers' bags are filled with more goodies, including a sheet of Christmas embossed seals, a candy cane, mint m&ms, a holiday pen, and ornaments that I found on Christmas last year at Michaels (I just so happened to have one with Kim on it which happens to be her teacher's name!)

Thank you so much for coming by, if anyone leaves a comment here I'll be sure to let Nala know that you visited. She was so excited that I was using her project for a blog posting. :D
Happy Thursday to you all, I do hope that today is full of happy surprises for you!
♥ and Aloha
