FFF pearls and lace

Yes. I know. It's Sunday. ;)
But with the SCRS blog hop and moving, I'm kind of behind...in everything. teehee!
However, there's still plenty of time to join in on this week's challenge over at the Farm:

PEARLS & LACE

Here is my card using Birthday Anya 2:

I'm not one to keep lace around, but these doilies from WalMart are always handy!
I colored Anya in with the no border technique,
then paired her with Happy Day paper {Simple Stories}.
The turquoise pearls are from Michaels, and that fun bingo card is also part of the paper set.

Come on over and join in on the fun!
The direct link is here to the FFF challenge -
we'd love for you to play along with us this week!

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone,
thank you so much for coming by!

Die Cuts anyone?

 YAY, it's finally Friday!
Welcome to a new challenge over at TGF to start your weekend.
This week for FFF, Anita wants you to use:

Die Cuts & Punches

Here is my card using the new digi named Addy:

Isn't she such a cutie?
I printed her off a wee bit smaller than normal to fit her into the die cut.
That Polaroid die and Heart die (one set!) can be found here at the store.
I added in a SU rub on sentiment, buttons, and then used my mini Janome to sew.

This week Tuesday Morning Sketches is celebrating 4 years,
{Congratulations Melissa and crew!}
with the option of using any of these sketches (I used the top left):

Come along and play in on the fun!
You can use any die cut or punch for TGF's FFF challenge,
just be sure to use a TGF image (digi, clear, or rubber) to be eligible.

Happy wonderful, glorious, thank goodness it's Friday everyone!
It's time for a fun challenge for you over at The Greeting Farm, are you ready?
We want to see you:

PAPER PIECING

Oh my goodness, I remember when I first saw this technique years and years ago.
I was so giddy with the fact that you could do clothing with texture and color!
Here is my card using the beautiful Anya Blooms:

I went a bit 'country' with her outfit, after finding this sweet plaid paper
and all the fun coordinating ones in the 6x6 pack (Simple Stories: Summer Fresh).
Added twine and a button and she's ready for a County Fair, isn't she? ;)

Come on over and join us - this is such a FUN challenge,

Today starts a new challenge over at The Greeting Farm:

A Recipe of 1-2-3:
1 image
2 embellishments

Here is my altered clipboard for Teacher's Appreciation Week:

Cheeky Geeky is one of my all time favorite images!
I know...I say that about all my TGF stamps. ;)
For the bunting I used the adorable Bantastic Clear Set and 2 pieces of scrap papers,
then for my two embellishments added bows and a button.
I am not sure which teacher this will go to tomorrow, but I hope it makes her smile!

Come along and play in the fun - all you have to do is use any TGF image,
follow the recipe, then link up here on the blog.

Happy Friday everyone!
Are you ready for the weekend? Me toooooo!
But first, make plans to join us in this week's newest FFF challenge:

GLITTER AND SPARKLE

Oooh, yes, the girly stuff!
For my card I used the newest Anya Blooms:

She's such a sweetie! I love the size of this stamp, perfect for filling up a card.
The sentiments are adorable too, and I love her gerbera daisies. ;)
Anya was colored in with copics and stickled with purple glitter,
since it's so spring-y I added in the new mini flutters die and some happy patterned paper.

Come along and join in on the fun!

Ribbon or Lace - You choose!

Let's get Farm Fresh Friday-d!
This week we want to see your lace or ribbon on your card.
Super easy, right?
Because I happen to know how much of that stuff you have in your stash. ;)
For my card I used the adorable new Wild Sprout Gracie,
along with Basic Grey's Sweet Thread papers.
My doily was from WalMart (best purchase ever!),
used as a background circle as well as a bit of lace under her dress.
I also recreated a lace border with my Martha Stewart punch.
Oh how I wish I could take credit for that rose,
but it's really a single bloom off of a Webster's bloomers roll. ;)

I'm also entering this sweetie into the following challenges:
By the Cute & Girly: Roses are Red

Now it's your turn to show us what you've got!
Come on over to the blog here to see what the other fabulous designers have done,
this is also where you get to link up.

Have a wonderful day everyone!
Thank you for coming by.

Play Date at the Farm!

Happy Saturday everyone!
A quick and late post as I finally had the chance to sit in my craft room. Between groceries, a rainy day, and 6 kids excited for Spring Break, it's been crazy at the Wilson household!
The Play Date Cafe is being sponsored by the fabulous Greeting Farm. As you may notice, I {heart} this company and just had to play along! The Play Date Cafe has a color challenge of green, brown, and white. Using the wonderful Easter freebie that Marie has graciously gifted her customers, here's what I created:

I also used the current sketch from the Farm Fresh Challenge blog by Rachel:

Here are some other fun challenges I am using Anya for:
Daring Cardmakers: Spring/Easter
Totally Paper Crafts: Springtime

Have a great rest of your Saturday everyone! :0)

You're the best!

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you all are having a great week so far? I made sure to have some crafting time in this weekend, I feel like I'm a better person after coloring. ;) This card was made for Farm Fresh Challenge (formerly known as Club Anya) to use all things new. So I inked up my new Hats Off Anya (she's 1 of 3, they're all beautiful), grabbed some wonderful new papers from Claudia & Co.'s sampler pack, and opened up my Spellbinders Nestabilities. I got this set of Labels 20 from C&Co. and I do believe they're my favorite. They seem to frame images quite nicely and fill up a card front quickly, less work for me to decorate...lol!
I made this for my sweet DD, my 9 year old helper who just knows what I need at the moment. No matter what she's doing, she can sense the mood I'm in - bless her heart! She also happens to love the combo of bright green and orange, and one day wants her entire room done in those colors. Of course I am an orange fanatic so I'm looking forward to that day. :)

Here are some wonderful challenges I'm entering Anya in:
Card Cupids: Dots or stripes
Stampin' Sisters in Christ: Card for a child (a thank you to my DD)
Make it Colourful: Bright Colors
One Stop Crafts: Spots & Dots
By The Cute & Girly: Cute & Girly theme

Thank you for coming by everyone, have a great day!

Miss Anya and her daisies

Hello again and happy Thursday afternoon!
I just saw that the TGF Galleria was down so I thought I'd post my card here for the FFF sketch by Cindy:

I used the FFF layout, and was inspired by a fellow DCRU's challenge to use daisies in a card. {Sorry Gwen! I was a day late when it was finished!}
I am not sure what brought these colors together, I'm not a Lakers fan or anything but purple and yellow gingham seemed to call my name:

I bought the papers from JA's, the sentiment is from the McSplendid Farm set from TGF, Miss Anya was part of blog candy that I got from Erin. She sent two of each image, how sweet is that? Thanks Erin!
Okay, off to finish making dinner...Happy rest of your day everyone!!
~*Aloha
