Today will be short and sweet, as I know we have lots of fun stuff in store before kicking off the long weekend.
I am always on the hunt for items to re-purpose. One day I realized my ink pad stacks were a bit of a problem as well as an eyesore. Any time I wanted a pad on the bottom, I would have to cross my fingers and hope that it wouldn't have a domino effect. Here's something that I found for $2.75 at the thrift store:
I am not sure what it used to be, some have suggested a cassette or 8 track holder. It is actually standing on its side and has a name plate that reads "Property of Matthew" - haha! Whatever it used to be, I assumed it would be perfect for my stamp pads and was pleasantly surprised that it worked out well.
Had I not found this, I was going to attempt this project which is featured on SCS's gallery under the username molar101:

Isn't that pretty neat? It's made out of white foam core boards that you use for projects. Be sure to use a very sharp utility knife to keep the edges clean. This was her own take on another member's project which she credits in her gallery. You can customize it to hold stickles, ribbon, EP, glitter, etc. (see pic below out of wenchi's gallery). I thought this was so innovative, especially the way she made the fronts like mouldi

Tomorrow I will be announcing a fun little contest - I hope you come join us!
Thank you all for visiting, I wish you all a happy day~
