Love Shack Baby!

Come on now, you know you want to sing along:
"Well it's set way back
in the middle of the field,
just a funky old shack
and I wanna get back"

Haha! Hi everyone! First off, I hope you all had a wonderful and reflective Easter weekend.
Did you like my flashback to the B-52s? OMword, wouldn't that be so mean to have it playing on my blog? You would be singing it all day long...
Okay, back to the real shack that I'm talking about - The Digi Shack! I am so excited to be on my first ever full term Design Team! Toni is such a sweeeeety and her images are right up my alley. I love any type of humorous stamps (rubber or digi) because it makes sending a card that much more fun. AND I love digi (can't you tell?!) because it's so user friendly. My DDs always want to be like mommy, so it's easy for me to run off a whole sheet for them to color beside me. My family loves receiving their cards (instead of mine - lol!).
I wanted to let you all know some super fun stuff that's going on at The Digi Shack:
· For one day only, on April 15th all images will be 50% off. This offer will end at midnight MST so be sure to shop early. The best part is, supplies aren't limited so you'll have the whole store to choose from! :D Click HERE to enter the store.
· We will also be hosting our first sketch challenge soon. The sketch and the required image will be posted here on my blog. Don't worry, I'll make sure you know when! And guess what?!?! The required image is a freebie for you, my dear friends! Yes! FREEEEEE! Not only that, Toni will be giving the winner their choice of 5 free digis as a prize!! Woohoo!
Okay, so on to some fun images from The Digi Shack:

How hilarious is Fairy Grandmother? I love her! She has every intention of doing good but things didn't quite work out as planned. HAHA! Story of my life! (JK!) I love her expression, you almost wish she'd turn in her retirement papers and move to Florida. Nothing fancy here, just stickles, copmas (my term for copics and prismas), and a layout that I just played around with. The sentiment is from SU's So Many Sayings.

Here's another TDS image:

Oh Spottie, I can't stop giggling when I see you! He's not quite sure what hit him this morning. I understand that feeling! He's so versatile, in fact, I'm not even sure it's a 'he!' haha! Spottie would be perfect for a fun bday card wouldn't he? You could make a sentiment saying "You're HOW old?" I made this sentiment off of my computer, thought it would be fun for all different occasions. He's colored in with copics, and then using the colorless blender, I outlined what would be his tummy area. Isn't this layout fun? I got it from the Dare You To Digi Stamp blog, it's from their current challenge.

I hope to see you at the Shack with your shopping carts on Wednesday! And I will be sure to keep you on all the latest TDS updates.

And now for a personal peek into my weekend. I am sure everyone has wonderful pictures from their Easter holiday so I thought I'd share mine as well.

Here are my girls getting ready for the Egg Hunt after church.

Here's Maali, a little anxious that I interrupted her egg hunt in our backyard. She's trying to find more behind me as I was taking the picture. haha! Things get competitive in our house with so many kids!

Here's our Izzy, watching all the action going on from his daddy's arms. Doesn't he look dapper even with all the drool? :D

Here's Nala in an Easter dress that she bought all by herself. She is the official dog sitter for my friend Vanessa and rec'd a nice paycheck for it. She insisted on buying this dress (as well as a couple of ring pops for her sisters) and felt so responsible after. DH and I agreed that there's not a whole lot of girls who can pull off these colors.

And finally, here is my Easter "Lily." teehee! A beautiful flower indeed, and that's also Lehana's nickname here in our house. She's rocking that Jackie O style with her lilac shantung coat . ;)

So where are the pics of my older 2 boys? They were in the house eating their chocolates out of their Easter baskets from Grammy and Grandpa in TN. :D Have a wonderful day everyone, happy Monday!
*Love and Aloha*
