Get-Oh Fabulous Friday/TGF Q#5

Hi everyone! I am so excited for today for all the right reasons:
1) It's Friday
2) It's Get-Oh Fabulous Friday
3) It's 2 days closer to the Club Anya Release Party
4) It's the last day for TGF trivia - please send ALL 5 answers to me in ONE email to astickysituation@hotmail.com Good luck!!!

This card features one of The Greeting Farm's current rubber stamps, Teacher Anya, and is part of a sketch challenge at My Sketch World. Isn't she so sweet? I just had to put her in my favorite color orange. I used DCWV's Grade School paper pack to continue the school theme, grabbed a Creative Imaginations scrap from my stash and used SU's spiral punch along the edge for the notebook paper. "Thank You" sentiment is from SU's Family Phrases set.

And now on to my Friday edition...
I recently started a gallery on SCS and realized my photography skills were really bad. After reading through some forums, getting helpful tips off of websites, receiving a nice little upgrade digital camera for my birthday, I decided I needed to get serious.
I consulted DH about a photo studio box when he said, "You could do something like that on your own." And so the challenge began. Except that if you are familiar with my Fridays, I require ONLY the best and newest innovated designs. (Not!) I did some research, took notes, and built my own photography studio just for cards and projects.
$1600 later I was finally done. Whoops! I forgot the decimal point - $16.00 later, I mean.
And here it is! Shh...the basket weave card model is getting her close-up and you know how models are on their shoot...I don't want to get a cell phone thrown at me. Ha!
After reading all the articles and experimenting I came up with this simple solution. The most expensive thing here is that Ott light from Tuesday Morning - a whopping $14.99 plus tax! OUCH! I alternate 12x12 pieces of cardstock - either white or black, depending on what look I am going for. This 'studio' collapses easily, which is exactly what I need on my craft table.

Here is a view of it without the model. Haha! Now here's the coolest part of it all. I have always said I'd give credit back to the original idea. Well I found this tutorial on Lisa Phillipi's blog for my card easel. I'll wait here while you read it, lean back in your chair with a smile, then shout, "BRILLIANT IDEA!" It is indeed the most innovative project yet. Lisa sends an easel with her cards so they can be displayed by the recipient. What a great idea!
This works for me because my camera has a low light setting. I don't have any natural light in my craft space which is why I need to use the Ott light directly on the front of the card. Once in a while I will take a picture in my 'studio' during the day while facing a window (this works great as well, but I tend to do a lot of my crafting at night).
I hope you all enjoyed this edition, thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful Friday and an even greater weekend.
(Don't forget to stop by on Sunday for The Greeting Farm's new release party!)
*Love and Aloha*
Final Question #5:
What is the explanation behind the new name "The Greeting Farm"?

Well, now that you are a master photographer, I have a perfect "challenge" for you, lol! I was "tagged" on a challenge- so I, in turn, have tagged you ;-) If you look on my blog, you'll find the rules. It's a really fun challenge; I think you'll enjoy it.

Your studio looks like mine! I also don't have much light in here and do most of my crafting at night as well. Guess that's what happens when you work a regular 9-5 job.
