Thursday - part 2!

Have you ever made something where it didn't matter what anyone else thought? Not for snotty reasons, but because it was something that just flowed out of you, flaws and all. ;) Well here's my entry for Club Anya's first sketch challenge. I had another idea in my mind with a totally different Anya, but this one just created itself. My friend Vanessa and I have been having these deep conversations about life assessment and I suppose this was the reason for it. I entitled her "Peace On Earth" as I love her serenity and calmness. It's almost like the yoga pose.

In the middle of making this card my doorbell rang. Who in the world is popping by unexpectedly in the middle of the day? It was Mr. FedEx man with a dozen roses from my DH. In our 15 years together, this is the first time he's ever done this. Our life's pace has picked up quite a bit with our 6 children growing and joining so many extra-curricular activities that this was his way of reminding me about 'us'. On the card were 3 simple numbers : 143 This is what we used to send to each other's pagers back in the day before anyone could afford cell phones! Haha! Needless to say I am in bliss, I do need to arrange them properly but I was so excited to get them in fresh water and take a picture. :D

Hope your Thursday is going well, thanks for stopping by!
*Love and Aloha*
