What I've been up to...Wednesday

Good Wednesday to you all. Haha! I sound British. Cheerio!
Here are a couple of cards that I've done recently.
For my Tilda card I designed it for 4 different challenges. Is that tacky? I would love to know your thoughts on it as I just started to do these challenges. To be honest, I made sure that I was pleased with the outcome and that the end result was respectful to the 4 different sites.

For the layout: Kazan's Sketch 20 at 2sketches4you is so pretty. Her card is amazing as are the rest of her DT. I love this layout! I rotated it to the left but still met the requirements. I am hooked on this site.
For the color combo (and the base is actually CB'd but it is so hard to tell with the layers): Cuttlebug Challenge's Mellow Yellow Rendezvous Monday challenge to use as much yellow as possible. What a fun color, I felt like I got my dosage of Vitamin D while working on this!
For the image and sentiment requirement:
Roses on Paper's Lim's Love and Friendship Challenge. ROP requires the use of a stamp from either The Greeting Farm, Magnolia, Whiff of Joy, Alota, Sarah Kay or Rachelle Anne Miller line. I used a Tilda from the Magnolia line and made her a more tan color for three reasons: I didn't want her to get washed out in a sea of yellow, this is more of my own skin color, and mainly because my one skin copic color has gone to copic heaven. ;)
And finally, for the razzle and dazzle of it all: Lori Boyd and her talented crew at The Pink Elephant's All That Glitters challenge. You could use any kind of bling, as long as it was sparkly. :D
If anything, at least my mom will be getting some fancy shmancy cards in her box this month! I send her cards so she doesn't have to go out and buy them, these are way different than my normal 2 layer-sentiment-image-ribbon ho hum ones that she's been getting!

And finally, my new Anyas arrived this afternoon! Woohoo! I love getting new stamps in the mail, it makes me do all the housework and cooking done in 5 minutes so I can play. haha! Who cares if the socks are in the oven, right? ;) I inked up the middle Anya in the set because she reminds me so much of my DD. Hair and everything! I paper pieced the shopping bags for more texture and opted to do DD's fave color combo of b/w and baby blue. My craft space just so happens to be on the other half of the girls' playroom and lookey what I found while tidying up their area - play money from their cash register! So I took 3 (they didn't even notice) and used it as DP for my shopping card. :D The first thing DD asked when she got home from school was, "Is that ME?" I knew I did okay then. haha!
Have a wonderful Wednesday - smile, it makes the day go by faster!
*Love and Aloha*

Excellent job!! In fact your sweet girl in yellow inspired me to step out of my box and I have a Sara Kay stamp that this little sweetie doesn't look very caucasian... I'll send you a picture later.
