For my card I used the one and only Penelope. Isn't she the most serene Asian fairy? Oh my word, I love this image. Very calm and so in control. *sigh. I want to be like her!!

I used our Super Saturday Challenge sketch courtesy of sketchlovers.com. and Melissa, who is hosting our weekly challenge. Here is the sketch:
I made her a fan with a new Asian paper sample that I recieved from my buddy Heather and to hold the folds together, I used SU's twine. The ribbon has been in my stash for the longest time, and I finally had the perfect opportunity to use it! Penelope is colored in copics and prismas (yes, I don't know if that's a no-no but in my house they are all friends, teehee!) and stickles were used on her wings. There's pearls at the bottom of her red cording and her Jade pi pendant has a light crystal effects glaze on it. The red cardstock was run through my CB with the textiles folder and in a desperate search for a silver buckle to compliment her wings, I used a soda tab that I keep seeing in people's cards. (Look past that little detail please because I don't know if I did it right!)

Beautiful Card Joni! She's one of the fairies I DON"T have yet...Love the colors. Hmmm....too many challenges to do today....need to do this, case Gabby's TGF and who knows what else...busy crafting day ahead YAY!
I finally got mine posted! You beat me to the punch! She's gorgeous!! I still have to play with mine. I will be doing that sometime today. Your Penelope is just beautiful and the little pearls - wow!
