Happy Tuesday everyone! So here's my little story: I've always loved to draw, as seeing an idea come to life on paper is an incredible feeling. I grew up in a very competitive Pictionary family and thought I would try my hand at a few digis. At first I created an image for my 8yo DD to use on a card, then I sketched a baby, then a little boy, and before I knew it, a little community started to emerge. I wanted these images to embrace the goodness in life as I am constantly surrounded by zen like moments throughout my day.

I was inspired when a friend started talking about adoption. This image was created for that special moment when a baby is asleep in your arms and you feel like you could hold them forever. I decided that since love sees no color, I made this little guy a darker complexion than his mommy. Her dress is paper pieced with patterned DP, the rest was colored in with copics.
