Flower Soft - how to...sort of...I think.

Happy Wednesday everyone! I wanted to show you a card that I created with Flower Soft. I picked it up at GAS a few weeks ago and had several emails regarding this product when I used it on a church window.
For today, I used it in a card that I made with a wonderful free digi image found HERE on Fred, She Said that I found through my friend Lisa. I used the image for a sketch that I ran across called Stamp n' Scrap Hawaii found HERE (Aloha girls!) that I found through my buddy Joni. Awesome name, btw! ;)
Before I begin, please note that I am no expert, but thought I'd give you my 2 cents regarding this product.

First off, this is what I used:

Flower soft, micro beads and my handy dandy go - to adhesive when I can't find anything else:

Au contraire to its name, it's not so soft. In fact, it feels like someone took a bunch of colored plastic and put it into a food processor - really cool! I paid a little over $6 for the jar, they come in a wonderful array of colors, my card uses Winter Green.

Here is the beautiful (and free!) image:

Here it is colored in with copics:

Now in this picture I popped up the flowers on dimensionals, used the micro beads for the middle, and added the Flower Soft:

You are supposed to use a PVC glue which I didn't buy (<--cheapskate) so I tried it with my Crystal Effects and it worked out perfectly. I didn't want to add the green to the pretty leaves so I thought I'd create my own moss for the base of the flowers. I have to say that it makes a world of difference on a card! I love texture and this is a really easy product to use, a little goes a long way, I don't think I'll have to buy a new jar for quite some time. The beads are made by Queen and Company, and purchased for a buck at GAS at the Dollar Scrapbooking Site HERE. :D

And here is my finished card:

I hope you all enjoyed my little get-oh fabulous review! ;) Thank you for coming by on this beautiful mid-week day. Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone! *Love and Aloha*
