Modern Sugar Blvd. gave the DT a chance to host a week of challenges and I have the honor of presenting mine. I want you to use a tag anywhere on your card. Easy right? :D
Omword, what a formal card! This wasn't what I originally had in mind. I was going to do a loud, summery card, but then this one just fell into place. I love these images from Pam West found HERE in the shop. They are so calming and serene! I'm at the point in my life right now where I want all things good, and her images emit that feeling. I used one of my all time favorite SU sets Refuge and Strength for the tag sentiment.
I followed the current sketch found on Card Positioning Systems blogspot. Thanks to my friend Dar, it came in perfect timing for this project.
Here is a closer look at the card:
Oooooh, have you tried Flower Soft yet? It's sooo addicting, I bought a couple of jars from GAS and couldn't wait to try it out. It gives such depth and is so easy to use! I'll have to practice a bit more because I can't wait to get the winter jar that they are coming out with.
I wanted a bit more texture to the card so I sent it through my Cuttlebug with randomly placed cardstock pieces. I didn't want the entire card embossed, just enough to give it an Old World sort of feel.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, come and join us in this week's challenge by linking your card HERE on Modern Sugar Blvd. Tag, you're it!
*Love and Aloha*
