Now many of you know that I am caffeine intolerant but I do have a cup of chai every morning while I blop (blog hop). When I saw Melyssa's newest Whimsie Doodles images, I just had to smile. This one is sooo me, chai tea and flowers. *sigh. ;)
I love this image and couldn't wait to make a card with it:
How sweet is this? The image of the teapot and cup is so heartwarming. I was so relaxed coloring this in the middle of the day while the kids jumped around me and fought over a toy that they haven't played with in years. ;)
Now the little swirly over the cup was something that I added:
I found (don't laugh, you all know you have stuff you forgot about) a clear stamp that has "family" on it with swirls on each end. Perfect for my little hot cup of chai! I just masked off the rest of the image to get the steamy part. As far as the teapot goes, I love anything bright. My whole house would look like a Dr. Seuss book if DH let me. haha!
Here is a peek at the inside using the coordinating sentiment:
I found a larger swirl (haha! I hit the jackpot cleaning up!) so I versamark-ed it behind the sentiment. More Deets:
DP: DCWV Nana's Kitchen
accessories: nestie, copics, primas, M's bauble, M's ribbon, stickles
Now go visit the Whimsie Doodles blog HERE to see what wonderful cards can be created with the rest of this adorable set. Although I will be showing more of it on Friday, it is available now at Melyssa's awesome Etsy store.
Thank you all for coming by, it's going to be a wonderful day. I just know it.
*Love and Aloha*

Love this Joni! While you have your cup of chai tea...I'll have the normal coffee NON-DECAF with 3 half-half and 2 Splenda sugar packets! LOL! ;) Love the brightness of it!
I love it! I also love Chai Tea vanilla :)
So pretty! I love teapots - I used to collect miniature teapots, but I ran out of space in my curio.

This is a super sweet card Joni! I love all the bright colors. It looks like some lively talking will happen at this tea!
Hey Joni, thanks for stopping by my blog. The waves are from a Cuttlebug border embossing set. I just repeated the design to finish the square. BTW, I loved your sub card. So cute with the buttons and the octopus paper.
This is so darn sweet, Joni! I'm relaxing a little just looking at it on my computer screen... You know I have never actually tasted Chai Tea. I don't get out much- snort!
Loved your project description on my blog... I'm still giggling. That whole thing has everyone in a tizzy, that's for sure!
