A ch-ch-chilly Saturday

Happy Saturday everyone!
Thank you for stopping in as I normally don't post on the weekends, but wanted to share this card with you:

Slusser is one of 8 new images in my shop that was created for my wonderful Design Team. When Lisa requested a penguin, I had this vision of making a chubby little guy that reminded me of my DD's stuffed animal.
This is a 6x6 card, I wanted the different elements to fit without crowding. Although I didn't follow any current sketch challenge, Vicki over at Saturday Spotlight has challenged us to create a scene. DH suggested that I turn the white background into an igloo so I masked and sponged, old school style. Don't you love it when the hubby gets involved with your hobby? :D I used my MS icicle punch below, and snowflake Cuttlebug folder for the base.
I love dimsensionals, so I printed off Slusser's face twice for depth:

I think this technique works well with all images, they pop off the card making them that more loveable. ;) Slusser comes with his fishy friend and 3 coordinating sentiments. He can be found HERE with his other friends, who are also being featured on my Inktegrity blog.
Thank you for stopping in on this wonderful Saturday! May this weekend be full of happy moments for you.
*Love and Aloha*
