Friday reminder

Hi everyone and happy Friday!
I know my Whimsie Doodles posting was Wednesday but I wanted to let you all know about our current challenge on Paper Craft Planet. It's my turn to host so I thought it would be fun to mix it up a bit - take images from different Whimsie Doodles sets and blend them in together! It could be an image from one and a sentiment from another. If you don't have any WD images yet (wink wink) there are a few freebies HERE on the new site.
Here is my card that I made:

I went quite overboard with the mixing, but it was so much fun to make!
The deets:
The 'bin' is actually the muffin holder from the latest Muffin For Christmas release (I thought it would make a cute little basket)
wrapped presents are from Party Monster
submarine is from Fish Tales
crown is from Yummy Doodles
kitty is from Have A Seat
ice skates are from Skates For Christmas

There is no limit to how many images you want to use, I just had a lot of fun putting this card together. Every year we get a huge basket and several boxes of Christmas gifts left at our door from my DH's workplace. Although we've reassured them that we're fine every year without it all, they do this for larger families in his building. After 4 years we've finally surrendered, as it is a loving reminder that generosity still exists. ;)
I hope you all join in on this challenge, you can upload your card HERE on the PCP page.
And finally, I'll be keeping Fort Hood, Texas on my thoughts today. That was our home for 5 and a half years so everything in the news is very familiar to us.
On a lighter note, you have an incredible Friday everyone, and thank you for being you!
*Love and Aloha*

Oh my, this is fabulous! I really like how you embossed the Christmas tree off to the side like that. It's so... so... gosh I'm not sure of the words. Portrait like. The bin with all it's goodies is really cute. What a great challenge Joni. Hmmm - I might have to play with this one this weekend.
