Time to Raise The Bar!

Hello and a very happy Friday to you!
First off, thank you so much for your response to yesterday's Sew Happy giveaway! selected #10 - congratulations Sheng and her friend Linda! Please email me at so I can send this set out to the both of you. Sew Happy is now in the store for just $2.99! Yes! You can buy one for a friend too, and I will happily send it to her as a surprise. :D

In other exciting news, I was overjoyed to see 80+ entries last week on my Raise The Bar Challenge site. Yeahh! I do hope you join us this week, I am keeping the challenges close to your resolution to use up your stuff that you have hoarded for so long. lol!
This week, the challenge is called "The Gift That Keeps On Giving" - use anything on your card or project that was given to you. It could be a present from DH, RAK from a friend, anything goes!
I used an image that was given to me by my dear friend Marji. :D

Marji knew that I wanted TGF's Sing for quite a while but hadn't gotten around to ordering her. I was soooo elated when she came in my mailbox! Marji also embosses every single image that she stamps, she was so sweet to send me her favorite ink and EP that she uses all the time. I love it! Here's the secret to mess-free embossing: Black ink and Clear EP. Doh! I had no idea...this way your image is clean and free from black EP specks.

I also used some wonderful floral ribbon RAK'd by my friend Kelli Jo. It was subtle and perfect for my Hawaiian girl. Here is a closer look at the embossing, stickles on her flower, and glaze on the ukulele:

Other challenges I incorporated:
Club Anya's current Monday Mania color combo: olive green, pink, and dark brown w/ sparkles
Sketches by Tamara: layout challenge #103
Saturday Challenge: Music

Now show me what you were gifted! Click HERE to get to the Raise The Bar site and see the wonderful samples by the DT as well as a surprise guest designer. Thank you for coming by today, have a BEAUTIFUL Friday everyone!
