A Whimsie Doodle Monday and Rock Star winner!

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Those two days surely fly right past us, don't they?
I usually post my Whimsie Doodles cards on Wednesdays, but couldn't wait to share this little guy with you:

Isn't Koale absolutely adorable?!? I love this country boy, sitting with his chicks on a bale of hay. It looks like he's waiting for spring to come...I have to say he's a lot more patient than I am. ;) I colored him up in copics and used some really old denim DP in my stash. I don't know why denim and yellow called out to me when I saw him, but pairing it with the MS fence punch seemed like a good match. And yes, that's actual bird feed that I photographed. The day before this picture, the girls and I made pine cone feeders for all the birds who have been so confused with the snow!
You can find Koale HERE at the Whimsie Doodles store, and he is in both instant gratification digi as well as tangible, fabulous rubber.
Don't forget that Whimsie Doodles has a great group at PCP and with fun challenges too! This week Paula wanted us to create a card for National Friendship Week, I do think that Koale and his peeps are definitely happy hanging out together. ;)

And speaking of friends, THANK YOU to all who commented on our impromptu blog hop for Gabby! The winner of that awesome rocking digi from Paper Makeup stamps is MINERVA! Please contact me so I can get Moody for Rock to you. To see the original blog posting to support Gabby, click HERE. Enjoy this beautiful day everyone, happy crafting!
