ACLP challenge time!

Happy beautiful Tuesday everyone! It's time for another challenge over at A Crafty Little Place and one of my personal favorite projects - an altered item!
This week the DT worked with the wonderful line of Pyrus papers:

I went a wee bit happy with the different designs to create a frame for my In Laws:

Recipe:
Quickutz shapes

This is a little $1 frame from Michaels, using my square nestabilities I cut uniformed squares and arranged them in a quilt-like pattern. My Mother-In-Law has a wonderful country theme in her den, I thought this would be perfect with her little grandson's picture in a sepia tone. :)
There are some amazing projects {here} on the ACLP blog, using the wonderful products from DCRU - my favorite online store. And speaking of, Claudia has a wonderful surprise for you:

Eeek! Who needs to wait for Black Friday or Cyber Monday? You can do all your wonderful shopping the week of Thanksgiving, straight from your home. Go ahead and spoil yourself. ;)
Thank you so much for coming by, be sure to go {here} to see the samples by the ACLP Design Team, as well as link up your altered item. ♥
