TPE Challenge #167

Happy beautiful Monday everyone!

It's a new challenge over at The Pink Elephant: 

CHEVRON/HEXAGONS

We want to see these beautiful designs somewhere on your card/project.

I could not believe I didn't own any patterned papers in this design!
And of course none of my nestabilities would work as hexagons. :(
So instead, I got creative and used a MS border punch and some wonderful ribbon that I had.

I pulled out an oldie but goodie Superstar Anya image (TGF),

then paired her with some layers of textured papers. 

This is a pocket card, although the inside can be written in as well.

Now one of the things that makes me giggle is the new fashion lingo. 

My son loves neon yellow - but it is now called "Volt." 

Neon pink is now called "Mercurial."

So when I see the term "Chevron," I can't help but think...

didn't we use to call it zigzag?

And wasn't this guy the original fashion icon to sport this design?

teehee! Gotta love Charlie Brown...
