Happy Monday everyone!
It's been a few days since we've visited, I missed you!
What an adventure we've been on, more on that in a bit,
because it's time for TPE's newest challenge:
Let's see those bumps, grooves, fuzzies, pop ups, and everything in between!
Here is mine featuring Some Odd Girl's Cuppa Mae:
I ran the designer paper through a cuttlebug script folder,
then added texture to her sweater and coffee:
One of the tricks I've learned is to use a sharp tip (like a paper piecer)
and trace over the black lines. This removes the fun flock from those areas.
I also added some whipped cream on her joe with white liquid embossing,
then heat embossed it so it puffed up.
Come on over and join in on the fun!
You can see the adorable textured designs here on The Pink Elephant's blog,
this is also where you'll link up your work. :)
And now for a quick update - we are on week two at a hotel. Yes. A hotel.
(Albeit a nice one with hot breakfast and a pool right out our back patio door!)
(it was supposed to be August 1st. Sigh.).
I truly miss crafting and my copics as I had no idea it was going to be such a long wait!
Otherwise they would have been packed into my van nice and neat for this trip. ;)
Thank you for coming by to see me, I can't wait to be blogging regularly soon!
Have a great day everyone. :)
