It's still Friday! Woohoo! ;)

Hi everyone! As promised, my second post of the day and I promise to keep it short. ;)

I know that some of you teachers are not ready for the school year (trust me, I feel the same as a SAHM!), but Melyssa's images from her Whimsie Doodles line actually make the new adventure sweeter. :D

From two of the many new releases tomorrow:

From the School Things line, this bus is adorable and such a fun image to use! And yes, that's a boy bear, he is from the School Bears line which will also be released tomorrow. Notice how I didn't use the girl? Because I am not letting Maali go to school. Ever. lol! JK! :D Her registration is next week, she is so excited she has already packed her Power Rangers backpack (<---my tomboy).

Here is a closer look at the bus:

I actually took a shortcut and printed it out on So Saffron cardstock. Then I highlighted areas to give it depth. This saves a whole lot of ink and time instead of doing it on white, and then coloring in the image. Oh, and I just had to use up some jewels for all the headlights and safety flashers. teehee! Maali would love a blinged out bus!

I couldn't get a good picture of the sunflower, but it is a button sentiment from the Gingerbread collection that says "Have a sweet day."

I cut it out with deco scissors and added brown and beige dots in the middle. (Sorry for the fuzzy pic, it is so overcast out right now.)
