Happy beautiful Friday eve everyone!
It's time for a new challenge over at the Deconstructed Sketch.
Have you been playing along? Jen's designs are so inspiring to create with!

Here is my card using a new image from Saturated Canary called Song:

Isn't she such a sweetie? Loving the Beats-like headphones too. :)
I paired this cutie with scraps from my stash,
the black, red, and white theme was fun to work with.
And isn't that little easel adorable? My sister from Hawaii sent it to me!

Here is this week's Deconstructed Sketch:

So many fun layers to create with, and if you need more eye candy inspiration,

It's almost time for the weekend, which means it's time for a fun new DS sketch.

Here is my card using a gingerbread-ed version of Saturated Canary's Sweet Cottage:

I added little puffs of paint for candy and snow,
then added pink pom pom ribbon and a rub-on sentiment from Stampin' Up.
Here is a closer peek at the done up house:

Saturated Canary's challenge and Deconstructed Sketch #128

Happy Thursday everyone!
I cannot believe how fast November is flying by. Yikes!
I don't even want to know how many more days until you-know-what. ;)
But in the meantime, it's time for a new challenge over at the Deconstructed Sketch:

Isn't this an adorable image?
Krista of Saturated Canary created a series of dwellings, including this Sweet Shack:

My son took an art class last year and did an amazing project with stippling,
I thought this would be a fun roof to try it on!
This week's challenge over at Saturated Canary is DISTRESSED.
We want to see all those rough, torn, edges on your creations!
You can see more amazing samples by the Design Team here on the SC blog.

And of course being Thursday, here is Jen's amazing sketch:

Deconstructed Sketch #125

 Happy Halloween everyone!
Although I decorate for the Fall season and not for spooks and scares,
I do love seeing all the adorable kids dressed up at my door.
I hope you all have some chocolate consumption planned for tonight? heehee!

Until then, here's a treat for you to try out,
because it's time for a new sketch over at the Deconstructed Sketch:

I did say I don't decorate for spooks and scares, right?
But I LOVE doing creepy Halloween cards!
I got these fabulous papers from Stampin' Up this summer,
I cannot believe it took me the whole month to remember where I put them.

I attached a fun little plastic spider on a torn cotton ball,
then glued him on to the front layer.
I must say, it really did feel spooky not having an actual stamped image. ;)

Here is the sketch for the week, so have fun with it:

The designers created some adorable samples, so be sure to follow their links below:

Have a wonderful and happy day everyone, thank you for stopping by!

Happy happy Thursday everyone!
It's a beautiful Fall morning and time for a new challenge for you. :)
Jen is amazing, her Deconstructed Sketches are just perfect, week after week.

Here is my card using Saturated Canary's Treats:

I cropped her down a bit, but the image in its entirety is adorable!
I found some great (old) MM papers in my stash {Halloween 6x6},
pulled out my trusty bat Martha Stewart punch, and some bling.

Ready for the sketch? Here is yet another awesome layout for you:

See? I told you so! Jen is so awesome, I love her weekly challenges.

Happy happy Friday!

Are you ready for the weekend? I am too!
But first - a couple of fun new challenges for you to work on this week.
First up, TGF's FFF challenge of...

THANKFUL

We want to see your gratitude cards/projects,
of course using any digi, rubber, or clear TGF image.

Here is my card using the brand new CC Dante:

Woot woo...isn't he a cuuuutie?
I love his style, I noticed some of my fellow designers went way hip,
and designed it as a long sleeve and vest - brilliant!
He is so much fun to color up, as all TGF images are.
You can find more samples of Dante here on his big debut!

I just had to pair him with this week's newest Deconstructed Sketch:

You can find this awesome challenge here on the Deconstructed Sketch blog by Jen,
and of course you can use any image that you would like for it!
Come along and play in on the fun!

Click here to hop to the Thankful TGF theme and see the other samples,
and then hop here to the DS site to enter in on the sketch challenge.

HAPPY FRIDAY everyone!
Thank you for coming by!

the Deconstructed Sketch #101

Happy beautiful Thursday everyone!
It's time for a brand new sketch for Jen's awesome challenge site.
I can't believe she's done 101 sketches so far - wowza!
For my card I used the beautiful Saturated Canary image "The Seasons, Springtime II"
an American Crafts rub on sentiment, and some scrap papers.
I also pulled out some Martha Stewart cardstock, and a WalMart doily to soften the scene.

Here is the sketch (which I rotated, by the way):

As you can see, I had some issues with size - lol!
In my defense, she was way too pretty of an image to shrink down. ;)
I am also entering her into Saturated Canary's color challenge:

Now it's your turn to create something with that lovely layout!
Click here to hop over to the Deconstructed Sketch blog to enter in this week.

the Deconstructed Sketch 99

*Please scroll down for the new TGF releases - thank you so much!*

Hello again and thank you for stopping by!
There's a new sketch in town from Deconstructing Jen,
and this is one you'll definitely want to play around with.
For my sample I used an American Crafts rub-on chandelier on a doily.
I must say it was fun to do and cut down on some coloring time!
I wanted a very girly Thank You card, so I paired it with some damask papers
(Recollections), a Stampin' Up sentiment, and bling.

Here is the amazing sketch for the week:
Remember you can flip it, rotate it, as long as we can see the sketch!
Need more inspiration?
Because the designers that I am privileged to work with are just amazing:
Tobi Crawford
Tracey Pickersgill

Now come on over here to join in on the fun!
Have a wonderful day everyone, it's almost the weekend!

the Deconstructed Sketch #98 Updated!

Earlier today I posted this wonderful sketch from Jen,
but with no card to show:

Earlier today I also posted this picture of why I didn't have a card yet (heehee!):

This is our son signing his letter of intent to University of Minnesota at Crookston yesterday!
YAY Kalil! We are so proud of him, and celebrated with dinner afterwards with the family.

After the morning rush of 5 kiddos out the door for school and one with me running errands,
I'm finally able to post my finished card:

{My hoarding of stamps is unbelievable, I forgot I even had Riding Hood Anya.}
Paired with some country inspired gingham papers and a rub on sentiment,
I was able to pull this card together for my mother in law who is recovering from minor surgery.

Now don't forget to visit the other gals on the Deconstructed Sketch Design Team...
I promise you will be amazed at how wonderfully talented these ladies are!

Tobi Crawford
Tracey Pickersgill

And now you pop over here to link up your work with that awesome sketch!
Thank you for stopping in to see me (again)!
