A friend was so sweet to send me some die cut felt flowers she made.
They were perfect for this challenge in its autumn color. :)

SCRS 3rd anniversary BLOG HOP!

I came across this set of papers from Stampin' Up and thought it would be a fun combo.

The colors are definitely different, but Seattle can always use some pastels. ;)

I love the Starbucks in her hand, a true homage to the city.

Oooh! I remember visiting the Statue of Liberty!
It's so neat to see in person, and we met the nicest people on the ferry.
Josh is one cute tourist, isn't he?
I loved his camera, so I added washi film tape,
then found some fun ticket sentiments to add in.

Introducing...Golfing Oliver!

Happy release day everyone!
It's day two of SCRS new releases and I have a huge apology...
Yesterday's debut of adorable Basketball Josh didn't happen because of my USB cord. :(
Apparently after 5 years of daily usage, it decided to completely quit on me.
Thank goodness my 17 year old showed me another way to export pictures. Phew!

So today we celebrate Golfing Oliver, a cutie patootie in a snazzy outfit:

 

Can you believe my hubby encouraged the plaid pants? ;)

and this absolutely adorable image.

SCRS Challenge #91

Happy beautiful Tuesday everyone!
Today starts a brand new challenge over at SCRS, a pretty photo inspiration:

Oh those colors are so rich and beautiful!
Take inspiration from this photo and using any SCRS image, join in on the fun.

Here is my card using the adorable Farming Oliver:

I used the colors from the picture, as well as the nature inspiration.
Farming Oliver was perfect as the gardener of these beautiful flowers! :)
Here is a close up of this cutie:

I found some cute stick pins in a leaf and flower design, colored him up with copics, 

then paired him with Recollection paper from Michaels.

The GROW sentiment is a rub on that I cut out individually for the banner effect.

Baseball Oliver!

Happy Thursday everyone!
For my month of guest designing with Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps, I have the privilege of debuting this new addition to her awesome lineup. Isn't Oliver amazing? :)
I loved trying to choose a color for his uniform, in the end I decided to match it to this great patterned paper that I had in my stash. I also used the current sketch from Fetch-a-Sketch:

SCRS Challenge #77 - Color Challenge

Well I can finally let the secret out, after keeping it for a few months. :)
The sweet Sparkle offered me a guest designer spot on her SCRD team for April!
Of course I jumped at the opportunity, with her adorable images and talented team. YAY!

This week I get to introduce the newest color challenge:

Pretty colors, right? I love this time of year with the bright and happy hues.
Here is my sample using Swimming Lucy:

I have to confess, I had SO much fun coloring her and figuring out where the shadows would fall. lol!
She reminds me of my mom, who was quite the fashionable, cutie swimmer back in her day.
