Meet Ella Phantzgerald!

Hello and a happy Thursday everyone, the weekend is almost here! :D
Welcome to The Digi Shack's challenge day and I think I was in a loopy mood when I said to use 3 different patterns on a card. lol! I struggled all night last night but finally, with the help of 4 other challenges, came up with this:

It's Ella Phantz-gerald! ;) I always thought she was a cutie so I was happy to use her for this week. Please note that a Cuttlebugged layer counts as a "pattern" which was a relief as I was stumped for a while. Okay, stumped is an understatement, I think I went through 4 different ideas in my head before surfing the different challenge blog sites!

This is the latest sketch from Mojo Monday. I have never played along with them before but I keep seeing so many cards using their wonderful layouts. It's actually rotated from the original sketch but all of my elephants, er, I mean, elements are there. ;)

And then I found the latest color combo on Color Throwdown: chocolate chip, perfect plum, and certainly celery. Pretty combo! :D I sorted through my stash of DP and found some coordinating ones in a wedding paper pad stack.
Finally, while perusing through my list of blogs, I saw that Lili Of The Valley's Thursday Challenge, as well as Lori and Robin's latest challenge is to use animals! :D Woohoo! So now my Ella gets to play along with the Pink Elephant as well as the other animals in the Valley!
Here is a closer look at Ella:
She's colored in with a combo of copics and prismas, then I added bling for her necklace. I cut her out and put her on dimensionals as I just love that look against layers, it adds so much more depth!
The Maui Wowies would love for you all to come and play with us this week! Click HERE to see what the new DT has come up with and add yours to Mr. Linky so we can ooooh and ahhhh over it. Have a wonderful Thursday everyone, thank you so much for coming by!
*Love and Aloha*
