I have a new look...I changed my header, something more personal to me as I have a very feisty 'Altered Ego' - get it? Haha! I am not the most talented card maker, but I find sooo much pleasure in altering things. I think that's my earthy crunchy way of re-purposing existing stuff, or making everyday items more appealing. Whatever the reason, I am happiest when I have scissors and glue in my hands. And with spring right around the corner, it was time for happy and sweet colors. ;)
The reason for this title is a reminder to myself - to SLOW down! Gabby sent Melissa and me a template for her Saturday Challenge and I quickly went to work on it. I was so happy when I was done...until I realized I did it wrong. HAHA! It was supposed to be a flower hold
er, but I just read it as a holder. And so I made a little butterfly house, uploaded it to my blog, time stamped my entry, then went to bed. I woke up at 5am and realized what I did! In all due respect to Gabby, I worked on my other card and gave this one to DH for V-day. Although it wasn't anything drastic, I learned my lesson. Too often I am multi-tasking and missing the point. Although this is the plight of all moms, I am going to make an effort to slow down and smell the flowers. Or in this case, the butterflies.Have a wonderful day!

HOLY CRAP JONI! I LOVE your new header!!! I love what you've been making of those holders! I checked my Michaels and nothing there...maybe in 2 weeks when I visit my MIL there will be some at her local M's! I SOOOO want to make one of these...like BAD! LOL!
