Hi everyone, thank you for stopping by on this great Friday.
Our little guy is turning one! As I said before, if we were back home in Hawaii, we'd be setting up a huge tent for a pa'ina (party). It would start out as inviting the aunties and uncles, and then turn into an all out, all day event with 100+ people! haha! Or I could be one of those moms who plan a 300+ guest luau. Yes, you read that right, and complete with matching shirts for the entire family.
Nevertheless, I am sooo happy to be announcing his bday here with you all! Here's a card I made that I'll throw in his scrapbook with a picture of him and his cupcake (cupcake tomorrow, real cake on Sunday when oldest DS gets back from a trip).
Isn't this doggy adorable? He's not sure what he's doing. I am sure Izzy will have that same expression tomorrow even though we've been showing him how to blow. :D The image is from The Digi Shack and is just the sweetest thing. I love his cartoon eyes, very expressive and confused. haha! I colored in his party hat to match the scrap DP in my drawer. It was the perfect size as I wanted to do a fun shaped card. The ribbon was just one long scrap piece that I looped repeatedly and then adhered in between the DP and the cardstock.
For my week finale picture of Izzy, I decided to post this one:
He is soooo well loved in our household. The kids literally fight over who gets to watch him when I'm making dinner. This is our Nala holding him at the top of a slide at a nearby park. (He loves pulling on her hair because she says, "choo choo!" when he does it. :D ) His expression was sooo funny, he was about to go down for the second time and was anticipating the adrenalin rush.
As I said yesterday, all parties have goody bags, right? So to celebrate my baby's 1st bday, I am giving away party favors to one lucky guest! All you have to do is leave a comment today, I will let Izzy pick a number from a party hat after he blows out his candle. I will announce the winner on Monday. Here's a picture of the treats:
Karen Foster Dinosaur embellishments
Adirondack dabber
stonewashed Bazzill oversized brads
Prismacolor premiere silver pen
baby blue bear ribbon
Jolee's hand and foot prints embelli
Reminisce bday transfers
Mini Marks Show & Tell rub ons
Thank you all for stopping in today, I hope you have a great Friday and an even more wonderful weekend! *Love and Aloha*
