Surfing into the week

Hi friends!! I hope your weekend went well, thank you all for coming by on this Monday. :D
This is a card that I made for Whimsie Doodles first official challenge. If you haven't been by the blog, omword, you really need to check it out. The images that have just been released are incredible!
I used the Ride the Wave set, because this bear reminds me of my own beach days. *sigh. Now let me point out that I didn't surf, but I was a decent boogie boarder. ;)
Here is a closer look at Bear-d Hamilton (haha! Laird Hamilton is a local surfer back home.):

He's flocked, and his board is waxed and ready to go. The sun was a short tutorial that I made HERE using a scalloped nestie. I mixed different scraps of DP for a really fun background, then ran the white cs with the swirls folder to make it look like whitewash. And this was created for this fabulous Whimsie Doodles sketch:

Cute sketch right? Okay, I flipped it but all of my elements are there. I made sure as the WD DT is fiercely talented and I get so stressed out when I'm creating with this line.
