I see layouts in my head.

And I can't seem to get them out! lol! Happy FRIDAY everyone! :D
Did that post put you in a spooky mood? ;) I hope it did because I have this to show you:

Creepy, right? The fact that I could completely ruin a great sketch. HAHA! Melyssa over at Whimsie Doodles gave us this wonderful one to work with:

Ever since I saw the elements, I already knew what I was going to do. The problem was, when some things didn't work out, I couldn't stray from my original plan! So I tinkered with it all day yesterday until I finally felt okay with the outcome.
Here is a closer look:

I scored the last MS Goopy doop (<-not its real name but I like it better than Drippy Goo) punch at M's last weekend. I know it's on high demand so I was excited to see one left on the very bottom. These fab punches are not in the regular MS section. Find the end cap of your local M's, they are in a special MS holiday section and have a new foldable style which saves on space.
The black strip across has great texture, I needed it so that the moon and cloud had a better contrast. I wanted him to have some bat friends (ribbon), then added another MS punch to the bottom to balance it all out. The picket fence was cut from beige DP, I sponged True Thyme all over it to age it a bit (a great 'dirty' color by the way).
Okay, so here's where you come in. Head on over to the fabulous Whimsie Doodles blog HERE to see what the Doodlelicious girls did, then join in on the fun! Be sure to leave a comment and linky up your dinky (whoa, that didn't sound right). And remember, it doesn't have to be a Halloween themed card, I just see things in my head. ;)
Have a wonderful Friday everyone!
*Love and Aloha*
