Well, it is officially a new month and although it isn't Fall just yet, I love the colors of the season and couldn't wait to switch out my summer blog. I made this magazine holder a while ago with the Never Ever set (The Greeting Farm) and thought it was perfect with this background. :D
My whoops:
Well today I must apologize for not getting the second image posted of the helicopter yesterday as I intended to. It was DH's last day of his vacation (sniff sniff) and I just didn't get around to it. HOWEVER, there are some adorable samples on my Inktegrity blog along with a giveaway today and tomorrow!! But don't go yet!
Now my woot woot:
It is Tuesday Morning Sketches time and I was so excited to see this fun layout:
Oooh, fun, right? And tricky too! I can't wait to see all the different ideas you all come up with!
Here is my card created with my newest release called "No Sub-situte" (I'm corny):
Don't worry, no animals were harmed during this photo session. ;) My daughters frequent my crafting area and often leave me little gifts. I decided to use their Polly Pocket dolphin for the picture. And Nala (oldest DD) thought this card would be perfect for a teacher with that sentiment, I never thought of that!
Here is a closer look:
Okay so here's the FUNNIEST part. This card was done on clear cardstock that I bought in June at GAS. I liked the shiny effect since it's underwater.
However, since it's clear, I had to put a piece of dp on the inside so it could be used:
Now imagine my surprise when I turned it around to adhere and found this staring at me:
lol! Since it's two sided DP, I didnt' realize he was on the other side! ;) I just measured the DP out on A2 standard size, and was ready to finish up the card. Hey, he actually works well with the theme, that poor submarine has no idea what's lurking around the corner... heehee!
Now be sure to linky up your cards HERE on the TMS blog, and please come by my Inktegrity blog to guess (and possibly win) tomorrow's new release! Have a spectacular September day everyone! Thank you for coming by. :D
*Love and Aloha*
