A winter card and some "ghosts"

Hello everyone and happy Thursday!
Thank you all for your well wishes, DD is going back to school today and the two little ones have pep back in their step. Even DH is feeling 10x better. I keep telling him that he should hydrate with water, but he seems to think that Dr. Pepper qualifies as a prescription.
I did sneak away into the craft room to play with this image that Paula sent me from her Pollycraft line. Thank you Paula!

Isn't she a sweetie? Paula sent me an email offering me a free digi since I used all 5 elements on a challenge card over at her site. It was so hard to choose! I fell in love with her sitting pose and her little bear is so adorable.
I wanted to add some snow on to the window pane so I took out my liquid app:

A little tricky to see with this pic - OTT and I are fighting again. ;)
I followed the current Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge, there are 3 elements at the bottom of Arlana's sketch that I was a bit stumped with as I didn't want to detract from the main image. Are you ready for the ghost?

heehee! Can you see them? They are "ghost" snowflakes! Heidi Swapp has some awesome ghost embellishments that are really popular, but I made these using my MS punch and clear cardstock! A little get-oh fabulous, wouldn't you say? And since I already assembled the card and didn't want to goof on the sentiment, I stamped out the SU greeting, punched it out, then ran it through the same CB folder to match up on dimensionals. Now I have the monochromatic look without the risk of messing up my main base.
Thank you so much for coming by today! DH has a 4 day weekend - woohoo! - so I'll be able to really get organized. Really. I think.
Have an incredible, wonderful, full of happy surprises kind of Thursday everyone!
*Love and Aloha*
