Sew Happy you're here (and a giveaway!)

Hello friends and happy Thursday to you!
As you can see from my post title, I am excited that you came by today as I have something new and fun to show you.

This is a fun little set that I drew up: a spool of thread, 5 sentiments, and a stitched heart that you can use for different occasions.
I've made a couple of samples last night, first up a card inspired by Mercy's sketch:

I paper pieced the heart and added the little button over the drawn one. Here is a closeup of the image and sentiment that says "I'm Sew in love with you" (heehee! I had to make that sentiment as my poor DH has been running around town trying to find me the mini Janome since Christmas - lol!):

These cards also tie in nicely with the following challenges:
Crafty Creations: Valentine or Love
Crafty Card Makers: What's New? (this image I just made! :D)
Sew Many Challenges: Anything Goes! (as long as it's a digi)
Corrosive: Let's Go Digi!
A Spoon Full of Sugar: Lots of layering

And here is another card that I made with this image:

I used a much hoarded BG paper pack for this card as I wanted it to be fun and playful. Here is the inside of the card:

Have you ever had an awesome SCS hostess that you wanted to acknowledge? Here's a great sentiment that is perfect for a return swap, letting her know how awesome her hostessing skills are. Oh my word, I can think of a dozen ladies over at SCS that I would love to thank! There's even another sentiment included that says Thread Sisters - that one's for all the friendships you've made over the years on SCS.
So here's the giveaway part - leave a comment here with a name of someone you've become close with on SCS. I will run all the numbers through random.org, the lucky winner as well as her SCS friend will both win this set! Yes, it is that easy. :D
Since this is an impromptu giveaway, it will end tomorrow morning at 8am EST so I can announce it on my Friday blog posting. Now if you aren't on SCS, leave a name of a fellow blogger that you've become friends with instead!
Have a wonderful Thursday everyone, may your day be full of happy surprises!
*Love and Aloha*

Very sweet, and I can't choose one person and if you stop by the dork sisters thread you will see why. What an awesome group of ladies and I am very lucky to have found them on SCS.

Joni, what a great set. I love those sentiments. I'm not on SCS, but could name a few people I have met and formed friendships with through blogging. One that I have met that has really inspired me is Vicki Parsons.

What a beautiful set - and a lovely idea. It is quite incredible the friendships that can blossom through our hobby. To choose just one blogging friend might be difficult - but I nominate my fellow card making pal Tanya Rudd - she is sweet and very talented.

I love this site and look at it at least once a week. As for someone I have become friends with on Splitcoast Stampers is Jaydekay. You should see the detail she puts in her cards and the Teapot Tuesday's Challange her cards and stories are the best. Also YLM, She alway's has fun cards and will alway's answer you with any help she can provide. She too has great detail to her work. Luckylin12345
