Designer Papers NOT ALLOWED! ;)

Hi everyone and happy Tuesday to you all!
Welcome to another challenge at DCRU. The lovely Heather has challenged us to create something without patterned or designer paper. GACK!
Fortunately I received my awesome QuicKutz embossing folders and had the opportunity to ink up my new Max from TGF's Twinkle Tots line:

Wow! Crafting CAN be done without patterned papers! lol! I even altered an empty tin for the Wii remotes to sit in, this way they're not left everywhere on the bedroom floor.

For my project I followed the current sketch on Card Positioning Systems. I also used my Cuttlebug Number Collage and Traffic Jam folders, along with the Retro Squares from QuicKutz which are all on sale HERE in the store. Those yummy solid papers are by Prism - just look at all those wonderful colors:

Oooh so pretty! One side of the cardstock is textured, the other side has a smooth finish and is so fun to work with. Claudia has all of the colors HERE in the DCRU store for purchase, as well as tons of fun goodies on clearance and on sale. You deserve a belated Vday gift to yourself, right? ;)

Have an incredible day everyone!

Great coloring, as usual. And your cards are beautiful, with or without PP. I read that Prism Papers is closing its doors. Better stock up on those yummy papers.

Fantastic card! I had just decided to start stocking up on Prism and using it (I even bought that sample book from DCRU) and now I have been told that Bazzil bought out Prism and they are not going to produce the full line any more! bummer! :-)Traci
