I've got some exciting NEWS!!!!

Eek! Yes! Trumpeting with pride, eating peanuts and scared of mice!! Yes - that's me, as I was asked to join The Pink Elephant's Design Team!! Woohoo! Thank you LoRi, I am truly honored, the design team is fabulous and so sweet!!!
I was especially tickled since Whimsie Doodles is this week's sponsor. June was my last month designing for Melyssa but I was so happy to work with her images for this week's RECIPE challenge over at TPE:

1 ribbon 2 die cuts 3 layers
Here is my card featuring the newest Geisha to hit Whimsie Doodles' store:

Isn't she beautiful? Melyssa's line of Geisha TumbleWeeds are so beautifully detailed. Can you see my ribbon?

It's Geisha's kimono obi belt! I also paper pieced her fan to coordinate with the DP. The scallop edges are actually nestabilities that I fit around the nestie circle. I added pearls to her headpiece and stickles to the sweet butterflies. {You can find Geisha HERE at Whimsie Doodles' store site.}
So are you ready to get cooking with this recipe? Come on over and see the BEAUTIFUL samples that The Pink Elephant Designers created HERE at the blog. Link up your work and we'll be by to see you! Have a wonderful day everyone, thank you for coming by. ♥

Welcome welcome welcome Joni! I'm so happy we'll be working together! Your card is beautiful! I love the way you used the pearls on the hair decoration. About half of us thought that top part was a cap and the other half the hair. LOL!!!

Hugs,
Lisa
