Happy middle of the week everyone! Although we're still eating watermelon and swimming, we are officially on the countdown here in VA - my kiddos return to school in 2 weeks and 6 days!
I made this card for Club Anya's Monday Mania challenge and was ecstatic to find out that I won on Monday. {Thanks Sheng!} I bought a 6 pack of these watermelon buttons for a quarter from GAS in June. I had no idea what to do with them, it was one of those spur of the moment purchases at the register...please tell me I'm not the only one who does that...
Fortunately the challenge came up to use "funky" buttons, and Summertime Anya fit in with my picnic theme. I used the b&w version of Me Likey papers ($1.25 a pack at DCRU) so you wouldn't get dizzy looking at a card overloaded with color. Thank you so much for coming by today, I truly enjoy your visits. ♥
