The Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #90

Happy happy Thursday everyone!
I hope your week is going well so far? Hang in there, it's almost the weekend!

It's time for a new sketch from the fabulously talented Jen Schulz
...and a story to go along with it:

Seriously, her sketches are so amazing. I love seeing what she comes up with!

Here is my card using Ruffles the Clown from Saturated Canary:

and here is The Story:

Monday night my 17 year old drove to a double header basketball game.
His old high school is almost a half hour away,
but he is still so close with friends there.
Naturally I was a nervous wreck. Naturally, right?
He's a wonderful son and very responsible,
but it's instinctive for a mom to be a little stressed out. Just a little.

(It didn't help that his phone battery died en route, but that's another story.)

While waiting for him to get back home, our second oldest son noticed my nail biting.
He popped in to my craft room, saw the images I was contemplating on coloring,
then encouraged me to try my hand at Ruffles the Clown.
I tried my hand at coloring balloons once...
But 12 balloons? Yikes!
It would take me forever to figure it out!
(He's a smart kid - he knew that too.)

Before I knew it, Kalil called to say he was leaving the gym,
and 30 minutes later he walked safely through the door. :)
Time flies when you're having fun, right? heehee!

Come and see what the other fabulous designers have created with that sketch!
