TPE Challenge #174

Happy beautiful Monday everyone!
First off, a big hug and thank you to all those who have served our country,
including my daddy, uncles, father-in-law, and my own sweet hubby. :)

Are you ready to celebrate the day with a new challenge?
This week The Pink Elephant wants to see your cards and projects made with:

DIE CUTS/PUNCHES

Here is my card using a beautiful freebie from Word Art Wednesday:

Now you would think that this would be an easy challenge, right?
Well I thought SO hard and had to attempt it three times before finding inspiration

the newest sketch from Deconstructing Jen's site:

With my card,I ended up using 1 die cut and 3 punches for this creation: Stampin' Up ticket corner, MS border edge punch, Fiskars heart punch, and labels nestabilities. And since this scripture is so beautiful, I wanted to enter it in the following challenges as well:

Word Art Wednesday: Give Thanks
Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge: Lots of layers
Pile It On: Let's Be Thankful
Sentimental Sundays: Thanks/Thanksgiving with sentiment

So what do you have to do now? ;)
Click here to get to TPE's blog to see all the beautiful work by Ella's girls.
This is also where you'll link up your own card using die cuts/punches.

Thank you so much for your visit on this beautiful Monday!

I {heart} Raise The Bar! (heehee)

Okay, you busted my corny title. At least I'm feeling better though! ;)
It's Friday, another snow day here in VA, and time for a new challenge at Raise The Bar!
It's an easy one, and sort of a no brainer with Valentine's Day right around the corner. That's right, it's time to have a Heart to Heart talk, so use any type of hearts on your cards!
Here is mine, I finally had the chance to play with my own digi:

I decided to make an easel, but width-wise instead of lengthwise. {All you have to do is adjust the folds horizontally as you would otherwise do with a regular vertical easel.}
My image is colored with copics and paired with that new DP I just bought at Michaels for this card. It is sooo yummy, full of texture and glitter and such wonderful colors.

I was at Big Lots the other day and ran across some great Valentine's Day chipboard from K&Co for 99cents. Love love love that store! I used 3 of the hearts on the easel along with the sentiment and more baby blue bling to balance out the colors. This fun digi is now available in my shop HERE and comes with 3 coordinating sentiments.
I've also made this for a handful of challenges that you are more than welcome to follow along to:
Cute Card Thursday: Spots & Dots (CB folder)
Digital Tuesday: different fold (horizontal easel)
ABC Challenge: New (just debuted my digi and that DP)
C.R.A.F.T.: Valentine's Day
Creative Card Crew: Valentine's Day
Pile It On: Enough of Winter colors
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge: Hearts
Little Red Wagon: Chipboard

HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE! Enjoy your day. :D
*Love and Aloha*
