TPE Challenge #153

Happy beautiful Monday everyone!
We are FINALLY on vacation so I can focus back on my bloggity blog. YAY!

Starting this week off with TPE's newest challenge with this yummy photo inspiration:

Ahhh...popsicles, grapefruit, strawberries. How refreshing! 

Here is my card using a freebie image from Whimsie Doodles:

Isn't that image so sweet? I decided to play off the layout of the photo inspiration,

as well as pull the juicy fruit and colors of the card. 

I even pulled out my CB folder to imitate the wooden table, then distressed it a bit.

And...speaking of Whimsie Doodles, guess who I met in person last week?!?

EEEK! The one and only Melyssa MacIntyre-Connolly herself!

Yup, I went out of town for an overnight power-crafting/getaway 

and finally got to meet this amazing, talented designer.

I had the privilege of being on her first ever Design Team for Whimsie Doodles 

so it was SO much fun to hang out with her and the lovely Nikki Tanner. :)
