Buttons and bows, Hallo Witch and more!
Happy Thursday everyone!
I am so excited to share my first card with Buttons & Bows. It's a wonderful feeling when you pair your favorite images with embellishments that make you smile - I love Kristy's Halloween buttons!I couldn't wait to combine it with this Hallo Witch image from The Greeting Farm - look at how perfect the orange button is, I twined black wire through and it matches her hat's squiggly lines perfectly:
And now look at how sweeeeet the witch's hat button matches:
Eeek! It looks like this image and button were made for each other!
Come on and hop over to the Etsy store and see these cuties:
If you don't celebrate Halloween, there are SO many others to choose from including Breast Cancer Awareness ones, puppy designs, yummy ice cream, cupcake, and cherry creations, and ladybugs that steal your heart. Trust me - you won't be disappointed. ;)
Some challenges made with thiscard:

My apologies to all Vintage lovers
Happy Wednesday ladies!
So what is that title all about? Well my little digi company Inktegrity is sponsoring Tuesday Morning Sketches this week! It was so nice to be back with the original crew and working with Mel's sketch.
I decided to try my hand at vintage (gulp) since I drew this digi for one of my Winter Designers.

I really did try my best!! I am so bad at creating out of my norm, but this was fun to challenge myself. I've had that DP for quite some time now, paired it with Tracy's vintage digital image as well as the coordinating sentiment. I've also created this card for:
Here is a closer look at the paper piecing that I did on the image:
And here is the wonderful sketch for you to follow:
Head on over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches site HERE and play along! You can see all the adorable samples by the design team, and you could win the $10 shopping spree to my store!

I {heart} Raise The Bar! (heehee)
Okay, you busted my corny title. At least I'm feeling better though! ;)
It's Friday, another snow day here in VA, and time for a new challenge at Raise The Bar!
It's an easy one, and sort of a no brainer with Valentine's Day right around the corner. That's right, it's time to have a Heart to Heart talk, so use any type of hearts on your cards!
Here is mine, I finally had the chance to play with my own digi:
I was at Big Lots the other day and ran across some great Valentine's Day chipboard from K&Co for 99cents. Love love love that store! I used 3 of the hearts on the easel along with the sentiment and more baby blue bling to balance out the colors. This fun digi is now available in my shop HERE and comes with 3 coordinating sentiments.
I've also made this for a handful of challenges that you are more than welcome to follow along to:
Cute Card Thursday: Spots & Dots (CB folder)
Digital Tuesday: different fold (horizontal easel)
ABC Challenge: New (just debuted my digi and that DP)
C.R.A.F.T.: Valentine's Day
Creative Card Crew: Valentine's Day
Pile It On: Enough of Winter colors
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge: Hearts
Little Red Wagon: Chipboard
HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE! Enjoy your day. :D

I decided to make an easel, but width-wise instead of lengthwise. {All you have to do is adjust the folds horizontally as you would otherwise do with a regular vertical easel.}
My image is colored with copics and paired with that new DP I just bought at Michaels for this card. It is sooo yummy, full of texture and glitter and such wonderful colors.

Give her a dolly that laughs and cries...
One that will open and shut her eyes...
Happy Thursday everyone! Could it be that another weekend is almost upon us?
Here's something really funny - it's 2 weeks until Christmas Eve! Ugh...I'm sooo not laughing.
Even though I should be checking off my to-do list, there are so many really fun challenges out there in Blog land that I wanted to play with. I finally had a moment to sit down and create a card using my Favorite Doll image from Inktegrity. This card is going in my sister's Christmas gift, because I consider her my original BFF:
I had this idea brewing in my head for a while and I'm so happy it's finally out and makes sense. lol! Back in high school, my other BFF and I used to dress alike. SOOO nerdy right? But it was the 80s, what can I say.
Here is a closer look at the two:

I mirrored the image and then moved them closer together which makes for an easier printing job. I do love traditional hands-on stamping, but digis are sooo awesome to tweak.
These are the challenges that I made this card for:
Digital Tuesday's Christmas Song (thus the title of this posting)
Sweet Sketch Wednesday's current layout
The Pink Elephant's favorite Christmas color combo (orange and blue are so icy and sweet together!)
Thank you so much for coming by today! Have a beeeeautiful Thursday, especially since you're probably done with all of your Christmas cards and shopping, right? Send some mojo my way pleeeeease...

No animals were harmed during this film...
(heehee) Happy Thanksgiving my friends!
While everything is cooking I wanted to wish you all a wonderful day and to thank you so much for being a blog friend.
For today's special occasion, I used my little Bizzy image from my Inktegrity line to serve up some turkey just for you. A little undercooked, but still delightful. ;)
The Pink Elephant's current challenge: Plaid, Brads, and no Angelina. I mean, ribbon.
Digital Tuesday challenge: "Thank You"
Have a beautiful Thursday everyone! ♥

A TDS color challenge!
Hi everyone! Isn't the week going by so slow? Hang in there, Friday is coming. ;)
Soooo, do you like my new look? In my summer mind, I wanted to make everyone feel like they're barefoot at my home, eating, relaxing, and listening to Hawaiian music. :D That's a new magazine holder that I whipped up yesterday afternoon instead of cleaning the house. The kiddos were enjoying the sand box so I seized the moment and made it while chatting with them. Priorities right? That's what keeps us happy. Haha!
This week Mandy gave us the coolest color combo for The Digi Shack's Challenge:
Bordering Blue
Old Olive
Regal Rose
Oooh...pretty. Let me first apologize for this picture, I promise it's nicer IRL, I'll even send it to you as proof. haha!
Using one of The Digi Shack's newest Dad's day image found HERE, I created this card:

Ugh, I took about 20 pics of it but there's so much white on it that it doesn't photograph well.
The boat is done with chalks (remember them?) and a little bit of a blender pen for some darker areas. The sentiment is from the same set, I thought it was such a nice saying:

There is also paper piercing all around the card and the edges are distressed. I sort of followed a sketch by Digital Tuesday Challenge found HERE. :D
I hope you all come over to play! The Digi Shack has some really great images for dad's day, and the DT will also be showing some sneaky deakys for the big release on the 15th. I would love for you all to see what the Maui Wowies (<--our new name by a landslide viewer vote!) has created for this challenge so that you will be inspired to join in. Please upload with the keyword TDSC8 in any of the galleries, and leave a comment HERE to let us know that you are a fabulous contender. Have a wonderful day everyone!
