Happy Friday, friends! I'm so happy the weekend is here!
I wish I could spend the entire day in my robe and get a jump start to laziness (lol)
but we're not all as lucky as Morning from Saturated Canary:
This is a revised version of an original image, but I think all of them are just perfect in any form. ;)
I wanted to keep this cutie in black, white, and pink,
but didn't want to have the robe merge with her hair.
Easy fix: make the robe patterned!
With a white Inkessential gel pen,
I added a grid pattern to differentiate her outfit from her locks.
I added a doily and an American Crafts rub on to another scrap piece of paper.
Easy peasy, if only I woke up looking like this.
You can find Morning here at Krista's shop,
be sure to spoil yourself before the shop closes at the end of August!
Have a beautiful weekend everyone, thank you for being you!

Sleeping Beauty
It's my turn to post away with another sweet image from Saturated Canary.
Sleeping Beauty is adorable, isn't she?
She reminds me a lot of Rapunzel from Tangled with this hair color.
I need to find her a Flynn. teehee!
I paired her with a rub on sentiment from Stampin' Up
and papers from Simple Stories {Vintage Bliss}.
I kept the layout pretty simple because the flower patterned paper was so pretty with this beauty.
You can find her here at Krista's shop,
along with the other dozens of must haves before the shop closes end of August. {sniff}
Have a beautiful day everyone, thanks so much for swinging by the blog!

Mother Mary
Happy Friday, everyone! :)
Today I'm sharing a couple makes made with the beautiful Mother Mary.
She seems to be a new DT favorite with the holidays quickly approaching!
I always love trying out different color schemes with Saturated Canary images,
just to show how brilliant Krista is as a designer.
First up is a black and white card that I made with a pop of yellow:
And here is one that I made with a more colorful palette,
inspired by the Altitude paper collection {Bo Bunny}:
I just adore the way Krista's images come to life,
no matter what your style or color preferences are!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today,
be sure to spoil yourself at the Saturated Canary shop
and visit on Facebook to share your lovely samples.
Have a beautiful day everyone, and a wonderful weekend!

Which Witch?
Happy Tuesday, everyone! :) I hope you're having a great start to the week!
I'm on the Saturated Canary blog today, sharing my latest creation.
With Halloween quickly approaching,
I wanted to color up the adorable Witchkeys image from Krista.
The problem was, I couldn't decide which papers I wanted to use,
so I made two different samples! (Problem solved, btw.)
Having two older sisters, and three daughters of my own,
I'm automatically drawn to images of three girls.
The funny thing is, I can name which witch is which in the family. hahaha!
That's me pouting on the far left,
my oldest sister (nicknamed "Princess" - seriously) in the middle,
and my sweet sister Jen on the far right.
When it comes to my own daughters, that's Lily (youngest) on the left,
the oldest daughter (Nala) in the middle,
and the sweet, content one is Maali. So basically, this matches birth order quite perfectly. teehee!
Be sure to grab a Halloween image or two for your fun coloring this weekend,
there's still plenty of time to trick or treat yourself!
You can spoil yourself with all the eye candy here at Krista's shop.
Have fun and thank you for stopping by to see me!

A little bit of Altitude
Happy Friday, everyone! :)
Two weeks ago after the flooding in SC, my kids had a week off from school.
Last week they had a two hour delay.
This week they had a one hour delay, with Thursday and Friday off as previously planned.
Yup. That meant I had a lot of craft time since everyone has been sleeping in. ;)
I came across Bo Bunny's Altitude Collection when I popped into Hobby Lobby.
All paper pads 50% off? Yes please.
I wanted to share a few of my cards that I've made with this stack,
the colors are so beautiful paired together!

Trees from The Greeting Farm's Sing Hello
Sheena from TGF's Ever After Kit
Makeup Time from Saturated Canary
Isn't this just a lovely collection?
I think I may end up using up the whole paper pad before the season is up!

It's Makeup Time!
Happy beautiful Tuesday everyone!
I hope you are all enjoying the lovely change in seasons
and all the excitement it brings. :)
I am getting a jump start on my holiday cards
and thought it would be fun to use Krista's sweet image:
Makeup Time is so festive, isn't she?
Just a classic cutie for any occasion!
I paired her with Bo Bunny's Altitude Collection, a rub on sentiment,
Martha Stewart snowflakes, and a bit of bling
with rhinestones and ribbon.
The silver and neutral colors were fun to play with,
normally I love a lot of color.
I think I'll be making up a few more of these!
You can find Makeup Time here in Krista's lovely shop,
and, with my permission,
go ahead and spoil yourself with a few more of her gorgeous digital images. ;)
Thank you for stopping in to say hello, have a wonderful day!

Back to School with Mya
Happy beautiful Tuesday, everyone!
I hoping your week is off to a great start!
I know for many of us, September means that the house is a little emptier
with all the kiddos off to school.
Funny how the house is emptier, but I feel like I'm busier. lol!
With this new month, I just knew I wanted to use this sweet image Mya to celebrate:
She actually reminds me of my son's classmate in first grade. :)
I colored Mya up with copics and used a fun technique for the flowers:
Simply make five dots in a circle, then add in another dot right in the middle.
Easy peasy!
I changed the flower colors for her socks,
and then did stripes for her backpack using a white Ink Essentials pen.
You can find Mya here at Krista's shop,
but be sure to browse all those wonderful pages before you decide to check out.
Because you deserve it. ;)
Have a wonderful day everyone! Thank you for stopping by!

TPE Challenge #305
Happy beautiful Monday, everyone!
I'm celebrating a brand new, shiny week,
and one that has finally cooled off to a low *90s instead of *105.
brrr...teehee!
Regardless of temperatures, I LOVE Summer and its relaxed vibe,
sleeping in, lazy days, family time, and of course swimming.
I was born and raised in Hawaii, so water is my home. ;)
Today is a new challenge over at The Pink Elephant:
ANYTHING GOES
I fell in love with Beach Pretty from Krista's Saturated Canary shop
and had to color her up for today's post:
She's such a doll!
I love her chic, mommy-friendly swimsuit, and her flowing hair.
I used a fun technique on her swimsuit that a friend did on her card -
instead of paper piecing a clothing item, simply color it in.
With a 0.3 copic black pen, I dotted 4-5 dots (depending on the location),
then added a red one in the center to create a flower.
Super easy and it gives the swimsuit a bit of dimension.
Be sure to enter in on the ANYTHING GOES challenge over at TPE this week!
Click here to hop to the blog and see all the designers' inspiration.
{It's an adorable lineup today!!}
This is also where you'll link up your work. :)
Thank you for swinging by to see me today.
I hope you have wonderful plans for the week ahead, have a great Monday, everyone!

Vintage Swim
Happy Hump Day everyone!
I hope this post finds you well and zooming through the week.
I know for many of us, summer is right around the corner - woohoo!
And what better way to celebrate it than with Vintage Swim:
This beauty is available as part of a bunch of digis called Another Bunch of Digis. ;)
Krista is so funny and talented. teehee!
Vintage Swim debuted as part of the Complete Cardmaking Magazine (UK) and was quite the hit!
I think she's absolutely beautiful, that swim cap and bathing suit are so classy.
I colored her up with copics,
then paired her with a rub on sentiment from Pebbles {Hobby Lobby}
as well as papers from Pink Paislee {Hello Sunshine}.
I added coordinating primas to keep it simple and a bling for her earring.
Treat yourself to this beautiful bundle of images!

Don't quite your Daydream. :)
Happy beautiful Tuesday, everyone!
I'm back today, sharing a card I made with one of the sweet images
from Saturated Canary's New Year's Bundle:
Isn't Daydream adorable?
I love her sweet expression and beautiful outfit -
she truly captures the endless possibilities of dreaming!
I paired her with some older paper from MAMBI damask cardstock,
then paired her with two different hues of red ribbon.
I also added a Thinking of You sentiment from a very old Stampin' Up set.
While this may be a New Year's Bundle,
the images are perfect for all year round!
It's a wonderful set of five new stamps that I love love love.
Click here to hop over to Krista's shop to browse around a bit, the Bundle can be found here. :)

not your standard square or rectangle.
Here is my circle card using Saturated Canary's Gardener Gayle:

I used a larger Nestabilities circle in my Grand Calibur,

TPE Challenge #285
Happy beautiful Monday, everyone!
It's time for a new challenge over at The Pink Elephant,
and we are celebrating the week of Valentine's Day with a theme:
BE MY VALENTINE
Today I am using an adorable image from Saturated Canary,
this sweetie is from the Valentine's Bundle:
This image makes me giggle out loud.
There's something about her awkward confidence that makes me smile!
(I am pretty sure she's that co-worker who wears Christmas sweaters during the winter. lol!)
I colored her with copics, lined her skirt with a white Inkadinkado pen,
and paired her with papers from the Paper Studio {Hobby Lobby}.
I found that cute sentiment on line and thought it was perfect with her curvy sweetness. ;)

TPE Challenge #284
Happy happy Monday everyone!
Not only is it a new week, but can you believe we're already into a new month?
February is such a lovely time, I get so excited to see color. :)
And speaking of, this week we have a fun, new, festive challenge over at TPE:
Isn't that inspirational picture adorable? Candy, bunting, cupcakes...mmmm...
Here is my card using an image from Saturated Canary:
I copied the burlap panel and bunting, then added that sweet image found here.
Krista's Valentine's Bundle is well worth the cost - 5 images for $10! :)
I colored her in with copics, then added a rub on sentiment from Pebbles.
The bunting was done with a TGF stamp outline that I used on scrap papers.
Come along and join in on the inspirational fun!
All you have to do is interpret the first picture as you desire.
Be sure to pop over and see what Ella's girls have done,

Black and Gold with The Pink Elephant!
Happy 1st Monday of 2015, everyone!
It's time to jump into those resolutions of getting crafty again,
and what better way than with a new challenge?
This week is a fun and festive one:
We want to see your cards using BLACK and GOLD (inspiration photo above).
Here is my card using an adorable image from Saturated Canary named May:
{This cutie is part of a 2015 New Year's Special Bundle from Krista found here.}
My resolution is to actually mail out these cards instead of keeping them in a pile,
and since I use plenty of birthday cards, this one came together quickly!
May is so much fun to color, her hair is just so beautiful and wispy.
I paired her with papers from Me & My Big Ideas Specialty Cardstock,
a gold charm, ribbon from Michaels, and a rub on sentiment from American Crafts.
Come on over and play along with us!
Gold and Black puts you in a glamorous mood. ;)
Hop over to the blog here to see the other beautiful samples by Ella's Girls,
