Yes, the weekend is upon us and that just makes me smile. :)
Another thing that makes me grin is the newest challenge over at TGF:

Here is my card using the new Cheeky Lesson (available 7/1):

Those Cheekys, I tell you...they've got such a cute spirit!

I used the no border technique and jillibean soup papers (Sweet & Sour Soup).
The sentiment is from TGF's Grammy and Gramps set (retired),

and I found the cutest paper clips at Staples in fun shapes.

Happy beautiful Monday everyone!
I'm especially excited because we had a bit of inclement weather (ice,ice, baby)

so not only did the kids have a 2 hour delay,

but my sweet husband is teleworking from home. YAY!

This means I can finish up my half done weekend projects. lol!

Lately my cards have been in pinks and reds so I grabbed my Sassafras papers
just to add in browns and oranges.

Hay there Chickie!

Hello sweet friends! Today starts a NEW challenge over at Raise The Bar called:

Hey Chick!

We want to see chicks on your card (or any type of baby bird or duck will do). For my card I used an adorable image from Whimsie Doodles called Koale's Chicks. Isn't he such a cutie? I paired him with BG kraft designer paper that I thought looked a lot like chicken wire.And since we're creeping up on spring, I always think of yellow galoshes to get through the rain.
